Car wrap installation

Car wrap installation August 10th, 2010

Installations is a very important step in completing successful wrap project. Most of the wrap companies provide professional installation service which includes certain undisclosed number of steps, to ensure your satisfaction. However there is a lot of details that could greatly influence the cost of the wrap and it final outcome. By default on commercial applications, door handles are not removed and the vinyl is simply cut and tucked under them. In most cases this practice is perfectly fine and overall look of the graphics is not compromised.

We offer you a choice to have your door handles, headlights and taillights removed before installation. In certain cases like when using solid colour vinyl or specialty vinyls like 3M Carbon Fibre, it would be recommended to spend additional time and remove as much as possible to ensure seamless installation. Vinyl can be tucked in properly when the lights are off the car, and there is no issues with slight vinyl shrinkage due to temperature changes.

Matte Black

Matte Black July 23rd, 2010

Vehicle vinyl is offered in variety of colours which could be used to change the colour of the vehicle. It is a temporary solution and the change is fully reversible. Vinyl will not only give you a new cool look but it will also protect the paint. No colour damage from UV rays or stone chips. The popular finishes are matte black, matte grey and 3M Di-Noc carbon fibre. There is many other colours available to choose from. Colour vinyl application is more time consuming than traditional printed wraps, which are designed for marketing purposes only. Making this conversion to work requires extra steps, mainly in the preparation of the vehicle. Removal of lights, door handles etc. might be crucial to the successful outcome of the project. Our Mini Cooper, originally a white car, is wrapped with 3M matte black.
